South Africa FlagSOUTH AFRICAN DELIVERIES & COLLECTIONS:

We proudly handle most deliveries within South Africa using our own fleet of vehicles and trained drivers. This service is available within a 200 km radius of our distribution centres located in:

  • Centurion
  • Umhlanga
  • George
  • Epping (Cape Town)

For deliveries within this radius, product assembly is included upon request.

For deliveries beyond 200 km, we make use of a reliable third-party courier service. Please note that in these cases, assembly is not included, and customers will be responsible for assembling their products.

Self-Collection Option
You are also welcome to arrange your own courier for collection from any of our distribution centres listed above.

Delivery Fees
Delivery charges are calculated based on the distance from our distribution centres in Centurion, Umhlanga, George, and Epping (Cape Town). The exact fee will be provided at checkout:

  1. 0 – 100km R590
  2. 101 – 200km R990
  3. 201 – 300km R1,590
  4. 301 – 400km R1,890
  5. 401 – 500km R2,190
  6. 501 – 600km R2,490
  7. 601 – 700km R2,790
  8. 701 – 800km R2,990
  9. 801 – 900km R3,490

PLEASE NOTE: If stock is available at your desired location or province, your delivery can take around 1-5 working days, but we will try and deliver your goods as soon as possible. However, if no stock is available in your desired location or province, your delivery can take around 7-10 working days.

COLLECTIONS
If you would like to collect your online purchase, you can collect it at a specific store of your choice after 48 hours, provided that there is stock in your desired location or province. If no stock is available in your desired location or province, the waiting period for stock to arrive can take around 7-10 working days.

DELIVERY TO OTHER AFRICAN AND NEIGHBOURING COUNTRIES:

We partnered with trusted third-party courier services to deliver your order directly to your doorstep in Zimbabwe and Zambia. The delivery fee will be calculated at checkout and includes Goods In Transit (GIT) insurance for your peace of mind.

VAT Exemption
A 15% Value Added Tax (VAT)—based on the item value—will be deducted from your order before final payment and checkout. This means no South African VAT will be charged on online orders delivered to African and Neighbouring Countries, provided Patio Warehouse arranges the delivery with our trusted third-party couriers.

However, if you opt for the Collection option at checkout and arrange your own transport, the 15% mandatory Value Added Tax (VAT)— based on the item value—will be added to your order before final payment and checkout. Feel free to claim the 15% Value Added Tax (VAT) at your dedicated border post.

Order Tracking & Notifications
Once your order is collected from a Patio Warehouse store, you’ll receive an email and SMS notification from our team. From that point onward, our third-party courier will keep you updated directly. You can track your order or reach out to them using:

Border Clearance & Zimbabwean Duties
Before your order reaches the Zimbabwean border, the courier/clearing agent will contact you via phone or email. At this stage, you’ll be informed of the mandatory Zimbabwean VAT (15%), Import Duty (up to 30% – 40%) as well as a Surtax (25%) on the goods ordered. Please note that there will also be a once-off Clearance Agent Fee. Once these fees are paid, your goods will proceed into Zimbabwe and arrive at your doorstep within a few days. You are welcome to use your own clearing agent as well and we can arrange the delivery once cleared at the border.

Estimated Delivery Time
Delivery typically takes 14–21 working days, depending on processing times at the Zimbabwean border post.

Product Assembly
Your order will be delivered to your specified address unassembled, and you will be responsible for assembly of your furniture.

At this stage, you’ll be informed of the mandatory Zambian VAT (16%) and Import Duty (+/- 25%) on the goods ordered.  Please note that there will also be a once-off Clearance Agent Fee. Once these fees are paid, your goods will proceed into Zambia and arrive at your doorstep within a few days. You are welcome to use your own clearing agent as well and we can arrange the delivery once cleared at the border.
